Inventory Control Specialist
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday
We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining inventory accuracy. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring inventory records accurately match physical inventory through cycle counting, variance analysis, and continuous process improvements. Your work will directly support production, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily ABC cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes
- Prepare variance reports and process approved inventory adjustments
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/MRP system
- Verify inventory transactions and ensure data integrity
- Recount and validate inventory discrepancies when necessary
- Monitor inventory accuracy trends and recommend process improvements
- Partner with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to resolve inventory issues
- Support annual physical inventories and internal audits
- Maintain organized documentation for cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and audit records
- Verify production floor WIP inventory and reconcile ERP inventory records
- Follow company safety procedures while working throughout warehouse and manufacturing areas
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Inventory Control, Cycle Counting, Warehouse Operations, Materials Management, or Manufacturing
- Experience working with ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and perform root cause investigations
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, reach, climb ladders, and perform inventory counts
- Lift materials within company guidelines
- Comfortable working in both warehouse and production environments
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to work with export-controlled technical data
- Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance
