At Stay and Play Pet Care, we understand that our guests are more than pets—they’re family. We take pride in providing a safe, clean, and loving environment so our clients feel confident leaving their “children” in our care.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional daily care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities.
Safely walk and handle dogs using proper leash and handling techniques.
Feed, provide fresh water, and administer basic care as instructed.
Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
Monitor dogs for health or behavioral concerns and report any issues promptly.
Engage dogs through play, exercise, and enrichment activities.
Work outdoors year-round in all types of Upstate New York weather, including rain, snow, heat, and cold.
Qualifications
A genuine love for dogs is a must!
Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes—from tiny puppies to giant breeds.
Able to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous animal care experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
