Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for preschool children.
- Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and respectful interactions among children.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Lead activity planning for children that includes educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and special projects aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of children's development and incidents.
- Manage classroom routines such as mealtime, nap time, diapering (if applicable), and transitions smoothly while maintaining a structured environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Valid certification in First Aid and CPR; ongoing training in childhood safety protocols is preferred.
- Strong skills in behavior management, child supervision, and activity planning tailored to toddlers through elementary school-age children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Classroom experience with preschoolers or toddlers; familiarity with daycare or childcare environments is a plus.
- Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Passion for nurturing young minds through engaging teaching methods and compassionate caregiving.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
