Position Overview
We are looking for reliable, energetic Food Prep Staff to join our team. Ideal candidates are available for late night and/or early morning shifts and bring experience from a food truck or fast food background. You must be 18 or older and have your own reliable transportation.
Essential Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Holy Cow Smash Burger recipes, temperature standards, and quality standards
- Be punctual and flexible in maintaining scheduled hours of employment
- Ensure that temperature, packaging, appearance, presentation, and service of all menu items meet our operational standards
- Provide quick, friendly service to customers and fellow team members at all times
- Follow all food safety standards and health regulations at all times
- Uphold Holy Cow Smash Burger's core values and standards in every interaction
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including cleaning tasks and cross-training

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in a mobile food truck or fast food environment strongly preferred
- Must have reliable personal transportation and be able to arrive on time for all shifts
- Legal right to work in the United States (proof required)
- Available for late night and/or early morning shifts, including weekends
- Positive, energetic attitude with the ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Good personal hygiene and the ability to work successfully as part of a team
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours during a shift
- Safely lift and transport up to 30 pounds repetitively throughout a shift
- Comfortable working in variable weather conditions (outdoor food truck environment) including hot, cold, wet, and loud conditions
- Safely operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment; place items on high and low shelves
- Maintain hand and finger dexterity for use of small tools and equipment
- Able to respond appropriately in emergency situations to protect yourself and others
- Ability to give advance notice to your manager for any deviation from your scheduled shift
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
