Job Title: IT Technician – Onsite Support – Green Bay, Wisconsin

Role Description:
We are seeking skilled IT Technicians to provide onsite support in Green Bay, Wisconsin at our clients’ locations.
The ideal candidates will possess at least five years of hands-on experience in IT support, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure components. This is a hybrid position, remote and on-site, in the greater Green Bay region that plays a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our clients’ IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for servers, networking equipment, and end-user devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory and network access permissions.
- Install and maintain networking equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Perform regular maintenance of network infrastructure, including patching, updates, and backups.
- Ensure uptime and performance of business-critical systems through proactive monitoring.
- Provide an escalation point for user support for desktop and peripheral setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Work with clients on IT infrastructure projects, including installations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and best practices, including antivirus, firewalls, and network access control.
- Document IT systems, configurations, and network diagrams.
- Collaborate with remote support teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards related to IT operations and security.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Proficiency in network management, including VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- IT certifications such as Security +, Network+ or equivalent network vendor certification (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWALL, …), Microsoft platforms certifications, VMWare platform certifications, and other relevant certifications.
