We are looking for a competent personal care assistant to support our residents in their everyday lives. If you’re a compassionate, positive person who would like a fulfilling position, then this is a job for you. Experience in caring for the elderly and medication assistance will make you a strong candidate. This position requires hands on assistance with activities of daily living and light housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive their medication on time.
- Be an organized person, able to complete required paperwork.
- Help residents dress, bathe, etc.
- Able to complete light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
- Provide emotional support.
- Inform supervisors about changes in resident's health.
- Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergencies.
- Able to work some weekend days.
Skills
- Experience as personal care assistant is preferred but not required.
- Committed to health & safety of the residents.
- Able to make beds and do laundry.
- Well-organized and reliable.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Positive and compassionate attitude.
- Strong work ethics.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license.
Job Types: Per diem, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
