Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electronic systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Low Voltage Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality service and reliable system performance.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV, security alarms, and access control systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and configuration of systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to build and install components as per specifications.
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide technical support to clients.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with the system design team to implement effective solutions tailored to client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with low voltage systems; familiarity with CCTV systems is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation related to system design and installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on providing high-quality customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to install and bend conduit
- A valid driver's license may be required for field service responsibilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
