About the Role
As a Production Team Member in our Casting Department, you’ll play an important part in creating the ceramic molds used to produce high‑quality aerospace parts. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys physical, hands‑on work, learning new skills, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing things right.
You’ll work with wax assemblies, molds, robotics, slurries, binders, and high‑temperature equipment - all with full training provided.
What You’ll Do
Follow safety procedures and operate tools and equipment responsibly
Clean and prep bolts and wires for molding
Prepare wire kits for molds entering the department
Keep your work area clean and organized
Wash, dry, and prep wax molds for the investing process
Tape and prepare frame molds
Operate robotic equipment to build ceramic shells
Inspect molds and remove loose sand
Mix and test slurries and binders
Clip vents, grind cups, and load molds for dewaxing
Operate the autoclave
Water‑wash and bore‑scope molds after burnout
Assist with safe handling of materials (training provided)
Support additional tasks as needed to keep production running smoothly
What You Bring to the Team
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to safety
Clear communication with teammates and supervisors
Willingness to complete Forklift Safety Certification
Basic math or chemistry skills are helpful but not required
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, climb, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
Lift/move 35 lbs
Work in environments with noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature changes
Pass a medical exam and respirator fit test (no facial hair that breaks the seal)
