Job responsibilities include:
- Building and maintenance of actor’s microphone rigs
- Battery up and distribute actor microphone packs before tech and performances. Collect and put away at the end of day.
- Assist in setup of Orchestra pit and Orchestra rehearsals.
- Assist in setup, testing and cabling of equipment prior to tech.
- You may be assigned minimal backstage responsibilities moving scenery/props.
- Mixing experience preferred. You will be trained on the mix of the performance with a
pre-recording once the show opens in the event that a sub is needed for the A1.
Aside from emergency situations, these dates will be confirmed prior to opening.
- Must be comfortable working with actors, placing microphones and switching out batteries, mic packs and elements at a moment's notice.
