Duties
- Prepare dog food/medication if necessary
-Handle a variety of different dogs (various Breeds, sizes, temperaments etc.)
- Learn appropriate handling and training techniques. Learning training skills is an opportunity for advancement.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Use pressure washing to maintain and restore floor surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
-Clean and maintain outdoor yards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in some sort of dog field
- Knowledge of dog behavior and confidence handling dogs
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within specified timeframes
- Effective communication skills to interact with supervisors
-Dependability with attendance to shifts
