An ideal candidate for the Lead Teacher position is someone with experience in the childcare field, experience leading a Montessori classroom, and someone with the desire to work as a team in support of a class of 18 3-5 year old children. Qualifications: must pass fingerprint background check, complete pediatric CPR First aid and AHT training upon hire. Must have at least 1 year of experience in early childhood education setting and meet MN DHS Rule 3 qualifications.
Typical Lead Teacher duties include:
- in person and email communication with parents
- One on one and group teaching of preschoolers
- documentation of student academic and social/emotional progress
- lesson planning and curriculum development
- cleaning and classroom maintenance
Lead Teachers work Monday-Friday from 7:15-3:45 year round. We are open throughout the summer as well, with winter and spring vacation paid.
