Valley Hydro-Excavation LLC is hiring a Hydrovac Driver (crewmember) to join our dynamic team and become a vital part of construction and utility projects that keep communities moving forward in Wisconsin! This position requires on-site work at construction and utility sites, with employees reporting in person almost daily to the Campbellsport, WI office. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available. Candidates should be prepared to commute daily or relocate before starting employment. In this role, you will operate specialized hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities, ensuring precision and safety on job sites across Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, utility locating, and construction site procedures will drive project success while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate hydro-vac trucks to perform excavation tasks with precision on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of hydrovac equipment, including pumps, hoses, and safety devices, to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere strictly to federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Follow all company and OSHA/MSHA safety guidelines.
- Assist/operate/maintain various equipment (excavators, drilling machines, skid loaders, forklifts, dump trucks, trailers) as needed to support project requirements.
- Work closely with crew members to complete tasks efficiently while minimizing risks.
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, safety checks, and equipment maintenance logs to ensure compliance and accountability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Class A CDL & Tanker Endorsement.
- 1+ year of hydrovac or hydraulic equipment experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude (knowledge) helpful.
- Must be willing to work outside in the elements.
- High level of personal integrity and accountability.
- Current DOT Medical Card, or the ability to obtain one upon employment.
- Ability to read and understand safety/operation manuals.
- Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations, OSHA standards, and equipment safety procedures.
- Previous work on construction sites involving utility work, grading, or excavation is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $46.80 per hour
