In this position, you will work directly with our corporate Program Management team to provide recruiting and candidate coverage for all of our existing and future vacancies on our prime Federal contracts throughout the United States. Additionally, you will also support our Program Management team with recruiting support on proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Source, recruit, screen, interview, qualify and negotiate compensation for qualified candidates for all types of vacancies within VMSI throughout the U.S.
- Conduct traditional recruiting to locate, find and hire passive candidates through networking, cold calling and referrals in addition to job boards
- Prioritize and handle multiple tasks, competing requirements and multiple open positions simultaneously
- Recruit and provide qualified candidates to the program for proposal efforts
- Apply effective screening and interviewing techniques to effectively, efficiently and proactively meet staffing needs/goals
- Coordinate with the corporate program management team to strategically prioritize and obtain coverage for vacancies
- Maintain ongoing contact and maintain relationships with all hired candidates to assist in employee retention, employee satisfaction & to provide feedback to corporate program management team
- Utilize online Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure all information is accurately documented on each candidate
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for future openings on various VMSI contract engagements and specific geographical locations
Experience:
- 2+ years experience in recruiting
- Recruiting for government contracts preferred but not required
- Recruiting/staffing/search agency style recruiting experience preferred
- Experience maintaining any Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) with candidate and vacancy information
- Experience with and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, challenges, competing requirements and multiple open positions simultaneously
- Ability to meet all deadlines; set own priorities and continuously improve processes and procedures
- Strong experience and capabilities within MS Word, MS Excel and other MS office suite products
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $65,000 – $85,000 annually. Factors affecting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
