About the Role
Welcome Home Angel is hiring licensed Occupational Therapists to provide in-home OT services to older adults in New Hanover County, NC. This is a flexible 1099 contractor position — you set your own schedule and carry a manageable caseload, working with each client across 6–7 visits over roughly four to five months.
The work is hands-on and meaningful: you'll evaluate, treat, and follow clients through a complete episode of care focused on function, safety, and staying in their own home.
What You'll Do
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations in the client's home
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform home safety assessments and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment
- Complete same-day documentation in the company's electronic system
- Coordinate with the Welcome Home Angel team on client progress
Pay & Perks
- $150 per client visit
- $40/hour for training, orientation, and meetings
- Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS rate

Requirements
- Active NC Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with older adults or home health preferred
- Strong communication and documentation habits
Contractor Terms
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You are responsible for your own taxes and are not eligible for employee benefits. HIPAA compliance required.
Pay: $34.68 - $41.76 per hour
