We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician who shares our commitment to compassionate care and enjoys being part of a collaborative team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of pets and their families.
Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be confident in anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, and dental radiography while providing excellent patient care and client communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
- Assist with dental cleanings and dental procedures
- Obtain high-quality dental radiographs
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate clients on treatment plans and at-home care
- Support a positive, collaborative hospital culture
- Provide compassionate, low-stress patient handling and care
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience preferred
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring is required
- Experience assisting with dental procedures and obtaining dental radiographs is required
- Strong patient handling and restraint skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Veterinary Technician certification/licensure preferred but not required
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
