Job Summary
The Server is primarily responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service by taking orders, serving food and beverage, and ensuring resident and guest satisfaction in a luxury brand inspired condominium environment where attention to detail is key. The Server will provide residents’ with the best efficient, accurate and genuine service possible and exceeding resident expectations by paying attention to resident needs. He/she will also possess a limitless desire to attain the highest levels of quality and cleanliness in all areas of the Food and Beverage Operations and applying Condominium standards and procedures.

Greet (using names) and acknowledge each resident promptly after seating with Condominium greeting standard.

Presents menu, and answer questions

Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service.

Take residents' order promptly according to standards.

Know the ingredients, preparation, and proper presentation of all menu items and specials and ensure that every product delivered to the resident adheres to the highest quality possible.

Make appropriate suggestion of food and beverages (employs suggestive selling and up selling technique)

Remain observant and check in with residents to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.

Address resident inquiries and requests in a courteous and professional manner.

Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait and product availability.

Know layout of member dining room/hotel and location of all equipment and supplies.

Know all restaurants station breakdowns and table numbers.

Set tables according to type of event and service standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.

Handle food and beverage items with care, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.

Key in (pre check) orders on Point of Sale terminal promptly and accurately.

Present physical and accurate check to resident and process payment.

Assist as needed to maintain standards of appearance, sanitation and service in all areas and of the restaurant.

Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Required Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or GED.

Previous experience in a food and beverage experience in a luxury hotel, club or condominium is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.

Basic computer knowledge (Point of Sales Systems).

Food handling certificate is required.

Knowledge of food and wine is an asset.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by residents.

Must be of minimum legal age to serve alcohol according to state law.

TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certificate required.

A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.

Knowledge of basic food handling policies and procedures as well as the techniques and equipment for preparing and presenting food products for consumption, including storage/handling techniques, proper chemical handling, and sanitation standards.

This job operates in indoor and outdoor environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Work Schedule
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Pay:
$25.00 an hour flat rate.
