Position Summary
Cheesecakes Unlimited is seeking a motivated, energetic, and dependable Hospitality Support Specialist to join our team. This flexible position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes initiative without needing constant direction. The Hospitality Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations by supporting both front-of-house and bar service while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phones and assist guests with questions regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant services.
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude during busy periods.
To-Go & Takeout Operations
- Accurately package food orders for takeout and delivery.
- Verify order accuracy before orders leave the restaurant.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain the organization of takeout stations, supplies, and packaging materials.
Bar Support
- Assist bartenders with stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and ice.
- Keep bar areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.
- Wash and polish glassware as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing bar duties.
Restaurant Support
- Monitor dining room and service areas for cleanliness and organization.
- Assist servers and management as needed during busy periods.
- Restock service stations and supplies.
- Help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain professional under pressure.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the restaurant regularly.
