Schedule/Hours:
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (40 hours total)
- AM shift
Bring your Operating Room experience to a surgical team that regularly handles complex cases in Orthopedics (including total joint procedures), General Surgery, and Neurosurgery (especially spine cases). Your ability to adapt, collaborate, and deliver high-quality patient care will be crucial in ensuring positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Operating Room nursing
- Demonstrated proficiency in Orthopedic cases, including total joint replacements
- Significant experience with General and Neuro (Spine) surgical procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong technical and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub on a variety of surgical procedures within Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control policies
- Work collaboratively alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
- Monitor and address patients’ needs throughout the perioperative process
- Complete accurate documentation and participate actively in surgical time-outs and safety initiatives
