Overview
Maple Leaf Implant and General Dentistry is seeking a dynamic and highly organized, results-driven Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and expertise. This leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DENTAL office management, dental clinic experience, and healthcare practice management, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills.
You will serve as the primary bridge between clinical workflows, centralized operations, and our valued patients, ensuring a seamless, high-quality care journey for all of our patients.
DUTIES
Operations & Schedule Optimization
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in understanding dental terminology and procedures.
- Drive productive patient resorative and hygiene schedules that align with clinic production goals and revenue targets.
- Oversee daily clinical and front office workflows to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Ensure that the office and clinical areas are strictly maintaining OSHA, HIPAA, and industry compliance standards.
- Align daily operational decisions with overarching financial goals to maximize practice efficiency and profitability.
- Use Dentrix software to complete daily tasks and run reports to track the financial health of the practice.
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Supervise and support staff members, including dental assistants, hygienists, and office personnel.
- Guide day-to-day team operations, create workflows as needed, and implement established workflows, company policies and standards of excellence.
- Foster a positive, high-accountability workplace culture through mentorship, coaching, and proactive problem-solving.
Patient Experience & Consultative Support
- Champion a premier patient experience, guiding individuals through their routine and sometimes life-changing dental procedures by answering dental related questions and concerns.
- Helping patients understand their financial obligations for dental treatment and facilitating the collection of payments.
- Overseeing an in-house Dental Club to allow patients without insurance to have better access to treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- APPLICANT MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE!
- A college degree with 5+ years of DENTAL experience is preferred.
- No degree with 10+ years of DENTAL experience may be considered.
- References must be included with the resume and must include former employers.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and "fire fighting" abilities to resolve operational, staff, or patient challenges swiftly and calmly.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a strong aptitude for consultative patient interactions.
- Solid understanding of financial metrics, schedule optimization, and healthcare clinical operations.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
