Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Pitter Patter ChildCare Center. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. You will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool-aged children. Your expertise in childhood development and education will help shape the foundational skills necessary for lifelong learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Facilitate activities that promote physical education, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience through teamwork and shared resources.
- Support children with special needs by adapting lessons and providing individualized attention as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Engage with parents through regular communication regarding their child's progress and classroom activities.
