We are looking to hire an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our paving crew. Roller experience is the main priority for this position. Experience operating an asphalt paver and skid steer is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt rollers for parking lots, driveways, and other paving projects
- Properly compact asphalt and maintain a smooth finished surface
- Work closely with the paver operator and ground crew
- Understand proper rolling patterns and asphalt compaction
- Perform daily equipment checks and keep equipment maintained
- Assist with general paving operations when needed
Additional Experience Preferred:
- Asphalt Paver Operator
- Skid Steer Operator
- Grading and site preparation
- General asphalt paving experience
Requirements:
- Previous asphalt paving/roller experience strongly preferred
- Reliable and able to show up on time
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working long days when necessary
- Able to work outdoors in hot weather
- Willing to help the crew outside of equipment operation when needed
