Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and merchandising to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing retail sales team focused on achieving targets and delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Oversee inventory management processes such as stock ordering, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize profitability.
- Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract customers and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and legal regulations while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams for seamless operational flow.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team supervision and operational oversight.
- Demonstrated success in retail sales management including budgeting, merchandising, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams through training & development initiatives and performance feedback.
- Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail environments is highly desirable.
