Duties
- Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment efficiently and safely.
- Handle textiles with care, including sorting, folding, pressing, and inspecting for quality.
- Manage laundry materials handling using push carts and other equipment to transport items throughout the facility.
- Follow strict safety standards and protocols during all manual handling tasks to prevent injuries.
- Use appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on laundry machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with special laundry services such as dry cleaning or textile cleaning as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile handling is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents, chemicals, or other materials accurately.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and garment care quality.
- Excellent customer service skills to support a positive experience for clients or staff members when interacting directly.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery such as industrial dryers and garment care machines confidently.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols diligently and work as part of a team dedicated to high standards of cleanliness.
