Our Ministry
For 30 years Playschool Preschool has served as an outreach ministry of First Baptist Manlius. We provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where children aged 2–5 grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We are currently seeking a Lead Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Role
Our classes run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for classroom management, lesson planning, and fostering a positive, faith-filled learning atmosphere that reflects our church’s values.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Leadership: A Four-Year Degree is required (Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Proven Experience: Experience as a Lead Teacher in an Early Childhood setting is preferred.
- Team Spirit: A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with our staff and the First Baptist Manlius community.
- Practical Care: Leadership in all aspects of the classroom, including assisting with daily living skills and toileting.
