At Cardinal Care Services, compassion is our calling and care is our promise. We are looking for team members who are reliable, trustworthy, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality in-home care throughout Walworth County and surrounding areas.
We currently have a part-time position available immediately.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dementia and memory care needs
- Support clients in maintaining independence and daily routines
- Perform personal care services in clients’ homes
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Assist with laundry and organization
- Provide transportation for errands and doctor appointments
- Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts and Sit-to-Stand lifts when needed
- Observe and document changes in client condition or behaviors
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Promote client safety, dignity, and quality of life
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
- Dementia or memory care experience is a plus
- Knowledge of assisted living and personal care practices
- Ability to assist with ADLs
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different care plans
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience with transfers and mobility assistance preferred
