We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing party size, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is crucial in providing excellent guest relations and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with accurate wait times.
- Manage reservations and seating charts to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
- Utilize POS system for managing guest seating and reservations efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus but not required.
