Job Description
We are hiring entry-level and experienced General Laborers for a contracted construction project on Naval Base Guam. This position requires access to a secure military installation and all candidates must meet base clearance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs general labor in support of ship repair, industrial maintenance, and fabrication activities.
- Material handling
- Site preparation and cleanup
- Assisting skilled trades personnel
- Operating basic hand and power tools
- Maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Performs fire watch duties during hot work operations
- Monitoring for fire hazards
- Maintaining required safety equipment
- Ensuring compliance with established safety procedures.
- May also assist with painting, surface preparation, equipment staging, rigging support, and other tasks as assigned while adhering to all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) processing
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have a valid government-issued photo ID for DBIDS processing
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions

- No prior shipyard experience is required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or other manual labor environments is a plus but is not required.
