Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers.
- Develop and adapt curriculum using learning management systems (LMS) and instructional design principles to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
- Utilize various learning technologies and resources to create stimulating activities that support literacy education, math skills, and physical development.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies, conflict resolution, and effective classroom management techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate special education strategies and accommodate children with disabilities or additional needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including developmental milestones, using appropriate record-keeping tools.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's growth, address concerns, and offer guidance on early childhood development practices.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working with infants or preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and instructional design tailored for young learners.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms (LMS) and digital tools used in lesson planning and assessment.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs, including implementing individualized support strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to manage a classroom environment confidently while fostering a safe, inclusive space for all children.
