Job Description:
A custom manufacturing company is seeking to hire people who like to build build non-repetitive things, troubleshoot and work on more complex products.
In this role, you will design, build, and assemble custom gas energy equipment from the ground up. Equipment involves piping, small tanks, fasteners, pneumatics, gaskets, mechanical components, basic electrical wiring, and a variety of mechanical parts and pieces.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
Interested in, but not limited to, the following backgrounds:
- Automobile/motorcycle repair
- Mechanics
- Maintenance Mechanics
- HVAC Installers
- Diesel Mechanics
- Instrumentation/Piping Installers
- Military background – hands on mechanical. (Mechanics, motor pool, navy nukes, etc)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college or vocational courses in Quality Assurance is a High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree from a vocational technical school preferred.
- 2+ years previous manufacturing
