Job Requirements
- Willingness to learn electric motor repair, and rebuilding techniques through company-provided training.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and work orders.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Experience using machining equipment including, but not limited to, CNC, lathe, and mills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
(Not required — training will be provided)
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC electric motors and rotating equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting, disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling electric motors.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as: Megohmmeters (Meggers), Multimeters, and Surge testers.
- Knowledge of bearings, shafts, and mechanical components related to electric motors.
- Previous experience in motor repair, industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or manufacturing environments.
- Basic math skills, including measurements and simple calculations.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
