Welcoming Wonder Childcare is seeking a reliable, caring, and energetic Teacher Assistant to join our team. We are a nurturing early childhood center focused on creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment where children can learn and grow.
The Teacher Assistant will support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities, supervision, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lessons and activities
- Supervise children to ensure safety at all times
- Help with classroom setup, cleaning, and organization
- Support children during meals, snacks, and rest time
- Encourage positive behavior and social development
- Assist with diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with staff and follow daycare policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare experience preferred (daycare, preschool, babysitting, etc.)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
