Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Production Lead to oversee employees in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled food facility maintained at approximately 35°F.
The Production Lead will help coordinate daily production activities, monitor employee performance, maintain product quality, and ensure the team follows all safety and packing procedures. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can lead by example, work with urgency, and remain productive throughout shifts lasting approximately 6–12 hours.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold environment and must have reliable transportation. This location is not accessible by a bus route.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support employees throughout the assigned production shift.
- Assign employees to workstations based on daily production needs.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, work performance, and accuracy.
- Train new employees on production procedures, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
- Communicate production updates, employee concerns, and operational issues to supervisors and management.
- Ensure the team maintains the required production speed and sense of urgency.
- Package produce, beverages, canned goods, and other food products according to customer specifications.
- Assemble, line, and pad cartons and containers.
- Examine containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
- Identify and separate completed, damaged, or defective products and materials.
- Load and remove products from conveyors or designated production areas.
- Seal containers and bags properly.
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations using approved cleaning solutions and hand tools.
- Enforce company safety, sanitation, attendance, and workplace policies.
- Step into production positions as needed to support the team.
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, production, food packaging, or team lead experience preferred.
- Ability to lead employees professionally and provide clear instructions.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a facility maintained at approximately 35°F.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, reach, and climb stairs.
- Must be physically able to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, and management.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Strong sense of urgency, productivity, and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation because the facility is not accessible by public bus transportation.

Schedule and Training
- Regular Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday
- Shift: 5:00 p.m. until production is completed
- Shifts may range from approximately 6–12 hours.
- Overtime is required.
- Candidates must be flexible and available to work the full assigned schedule.
