Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to load and unload semis, organize, and maintain warehouse, coolers, and freezers, and supply lines with materials. Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications. Looking for two shifts 9:00am to 5:30pm Sunday-Thursday and 5:00pm to 1:30am Saturday-Wednesday.
Job Duties:
- Operate forklift equipment in accordance with all safety policies and procedures
- Load/unload semi-trailers
- Put away raw materials and finished goods
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse, coolers, and freezers
- Complete paperwork legibly and in a timely manner
- Supply production lines with materials
- Pick orders
- Utilize equipment to move semi-trailers
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Rotate through various positions in the warehouse department
- Work both individually and as a member of a team to accomplish department and company goals
Quality/Food Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all GMP, SOP, HACCP, and SQF rules
- Monitor products for quality defects and report to line lead
- Complete all required Quality documentation legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner
Safety Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean work area free of hazards
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Experience and Training
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Minimum one year of manufacturing experience required
- Food manufacturing experience desired
- Machine operating experience desired
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to understand written or spoken English instructions
- Ability to speak and write in English
- Ability to work with pork, dairy, soy, wheat, egg, shellfish, nut products, and fish
- Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
- Ability to take measurements and do basic math calculations
- Organization and time management skills required
- Technical/mechanical skills required
