This position reports directly to the Kitchen Manager.Responsibilities: - Under general supervision and following established Standardized Operating Procedures: - Perform any duties or tasks communicated by the Kitchen Manager.- Set up and breakdown serving stations in correlation to the daily menu.- Prepares, assemble, and replenishes food and beverages.- Maintains a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.- Has a positive and friendly attitude towards students, staff, fellow coworkers, and management.- Maintains proper personal hygiene and adheres to dress code.Requirements: - Ability to adapt and work well with a changing work environment. Works well under pressure.\- Must have a valid drivers license and is able to transport food safely from Wilkins Elementary to Clark Elementary.- Must be able to be self motivated. Will be working alone for up to two hours at a time while serving lunch at Clark Elementary.- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull heavy carts and racks, be able to work in varied work environment temperatures- example: Put away orders in the freezer, or work in a hot kitchen during spring/summer months.- Must be able to communicate with the public and have good customer relations' skills.- Desirable- high school graduate or have the equivalent GED.- Must be able to follow a standardized recipe.
