Daytona Kia is looking to hire a New and Used Vehicle Lot Porter! In this energetic role, you will be the vital link in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our vehicle inventory. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that every vehicle on our lot looks its best, creating a positive first impression for customers and visitors alike. Responsibilities
- Safely move, park, and organize new and used vehicles around the dealership lots using safe driving skills and proper parking techniques.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries, including checking in vehicles and ensuring they are ready for customer viewing or test drives.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles by taking vehicle to the detail department for washing, vacuuming, and detailing as needed to uphold dealership standards.
- Support guest services by greeting visitors, providing directions within the lot, and answering basic questions about the dealership
- Manage vehicle inventory by accurately tracking vehicle locations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and ensure smooth lot operations.
- 40 hour work week, includes weekends.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dealership or retail environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
