Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas is currently accepting applications to fill a full-time Concierge position.
Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas is a luxury pet hotel conveniently located near the airport. We specialize in dog and cat boarding, daycare, and grooming services. We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated, high energy individual to join our team of pet passionate employees.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate professional check-ins and check-outs while building lasting relationships with our clients. You will manage high-volume phone calls and voicemails, ensuring all email correspondence is handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide comprehensive and engaging tours of our facility to prospective clients to showcase our high standards of care.
- Safely handle dogs and cats, escorting them to and from their rooms. You will be responsible for providing detailed photo email updates to owners enrolled in the service to ensure peace of mind during their pet's stay.
- Ensure all vaccine documentation is accurately recorded and maintain precision in payment processing. You will also be responsible for the meticulous handling of medications and filing necessary paperwork.
- Follow all established opening and closing procedures to maintain the safety and cleanliness of the facility.
Please apply if you possess the following skills:
* Prior shelter, kennel, or hospital experience strongly preferred, or equivalent education i.e. vet tech or veterinary sciences program
* Prior customer service experience required for all concierge positions; exceptional communication skills are a must.
* Pet passionate, above all always looks out for the health, safety, and welfare of all animals
* Can handle dogs/cats of all sizes, not easily intimidated
* Able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and some holidays
* Detail oriented and driven to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work environment
* Multi-tasker, motivated self-starter, and can work in a fast-paced environment
* Trustworthy, upholds the highest level of integrity
* Punctual and willing to stay late if needed
* Self-aware, takes constructive feedback to improve own performance
