Warehouse Associate
Location: Plant City, FL (on-site) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift (occasional overtime during peak periods) Pay: $17.50 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Associate to join our Plant City team. This is a generalist role by design — you'll work across the whole operation rather than sitting in one station all day. Receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory, and keeping the floor organized are all part of the job, and the mix changes with what the day calls for.
If you like variety, learn quickly, and would rather be trusted with several jobs than repeat one, you'll do well here. Warehouse experience helps, but the right attitude and work ethic matter more — we'll train you on the rest.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Day to day, you'll move between whichever of these the team needs most:
Receiving & Inventory
- Unload incoming shipments, verify quantities against paperwork, and inspect for damage
- Put stock away in the correct locations and keep locations accurate
- Help with inventory counts, cycle counts, and researching discrepancies
- Restock pick locations and consolidate product as needed
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists, handheld scanners, or our warehouse system
- Pack products securely and efficiently so they arrive undamaged
- Label, stage, and prepare outbound shipments for carrier pickup (UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL)
- Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies before anything ships
General Warehouse Support
- Move product using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and (with training) a forklift
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe — clear aisles, broken-down cardboard, tidy stations
- Help with reorganizations, special projects, and busy-season surges
- Flag damaged goods, stock shortages, quality issues, and safety concerns to a supervisor
- Pitch in wherever the need is that day
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
- Able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift
- Dependable and punctual — the team counts on full coverage each day
- Strong attention to detail, especially with counts, labels, and order accuracy
- Willingness to move between tasks and help wherever you're needed
- Comfortable with basic math, reading paperwork, and using a handheld scanner or computer
- A great attitude — upbeat, cooperative, and solution-oriented
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
Preferred — we'll train the right person
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, or manufacturing experience
- Forklift or pallet jack experience; certification is a plus, not a requirement
- Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory software
- Familiarity with carrier shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, USPS)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a warehouse setting where temperatures vary with the season. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and operating material handling equipment. Closed-toe safety footwear is required. [PPE provided.]
