Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in machine operation, programming, and mechanical blueprint interpretation will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, multiplexes, and robots with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to accurately produce parts.
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials efficiently for production runs while ensuring optimal machine performance.
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify part quality and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment; troubleshoot industrial machinery issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety standards in production environments; maintain a clean workspace and ensure proper handling of materials and tools.
- Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Experience
- Proven experience operating Hass and Mazak CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar industrial equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Hands-on experience with tooling setup, precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers), and industrial troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and machine adjustments; understanding of GD&T principles is a plus.
- Experience with warehouse operations or materials handling is advantageous but not required.
- Prior exposure to fabrication processes such as welding or working with various hand tools is beneficial.
