About the Role
As a Veterinary Technician at Becker or Mille Lacs (Foley) Veterinary Clinic, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring every pet receives the highest standard of care. You’ll assist with exams, treatments, surgeries, and client education—all while helping create a positive experience for our patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries
- Perform laboratory tests, radiographs, and other diagnostics
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Monitor anesthesia and surgical recovery
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Communicate with clients about their pets’ health and care plans
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Certified Veterinary Technician (or working towards licensure) preferred
- Prior experience in a veterinary setting a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
