Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Schedule: Part-Time, Afterschool Hours
Setting: Center-Based Afterschool Social Skills Program
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced BCBA to lead our afterschool social skills groups. This is a hands-on role for a BCBA who enjoys working directly with children and helping them build meaningful social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive group setting!
Responsibilities
- Directly lead and facilitate afterschool social skills groups.
- Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based social skills activities tailored to learners' individual needs.
- Teach skills including communication, conversations, perspective-taking, emotional regulation, problem-solving, flexibility, cooperation, and peer interactions.
- Provide direct support and behavioral intervention as needed during group activities.
- Observe participants, collect relevant data, and monitor progress toward individualized goals.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other members of the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable ethical and professional standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and fun environment where children can have fun while learning social skills with peers!
Qualifications
- Current BCBA certification and applicable state licensure/authorization required.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and evidence-based approaches to social skills instruction.
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable providing direct, hands-on clinical work within a group setting alongside other BCBAs.
- Passion for helping children develop confidence, independence, and meaningful peer relationships.
