Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain high-quality standards and consistency.
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Supervise staff training and development programs to enhance team skills in food service management, customer service, and food safety.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols and sanitation standards.
- Drive customer satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a positive dining atmosphere.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to optimize food production processes and reduce waste through effective inventory control.
- Support budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a strong, capable workforce aligned with company values.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Extensive background in restaurant management with supervising experience in hospitality or culinary settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives.
- Experience in budgeting, inventory control, cash handling, and cost management strategies.
- Prior involvement in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus; hospitality management background highly valued.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interview candidates, supervise staff, and foster a positive team environment.
