Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while promoting and selling our products. The pay structure is $15/hr base with an uncapped commission plan. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by replenishing merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Assist in inventory management by participating in stock counts and managing stock levels effectively.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, promotions, and sales analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Provide support in other areas of the store as needed, contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service environment is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to sell products effectively.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems.
- Basic understanding of retail math concepts for effective inventory management.
