Duties
- Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math activities, and early childhood development strategies.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through effective behavior management techniques.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and learning across various domains such as language, literacy, and numeracy.
- Provide attentive toddler care and support children with special needs or disabilities, including working with individuals with autism or other developmental challenges.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and safety; assist with classroom setup and materials preparation.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth and well-being.
- Support curriculum development efforts by contributing ideas for lesson planning that incorporate Montessori or other educational philosophies suitable for preschool settings.
Skills
