American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric PACU travel assignment at a 536-bed academic teaching hospital in Portland, OR, requiring prior Pediatric PACU experience and active PALS certification.

Pediatric PACU unit within a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital

Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Patient ratio of 1:1
-
No weekends or on-call required

Floating between facilities within the state is expected and required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Epic EMR used; experience required
-
No parking fees
-
Scrubs: any color accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided

Active OR RN license required
-
Current BLS and PALS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of Pediatric PACU nursing experience required

Epic EMR experience required

A personal vehicle is required for this assignment

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Candidates must not have worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, travel contract, or registry/per-diem within the past 3 months, and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Floating may include any Providence Health & Services facilities across multiple Oregon locations including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside
