IDEKO Account Manager Job Description
Position Summary: IDEKO is seeking a talented Account Manager who will support day-to-day communication with clients and be a critical part of producing large scale, experiential events. As an Account Manager, you will have a dual-role position focusing on supporting existing brand accounts, maintaining and growing relationships, as well as securing new business opportunities. Experience in event production and event management is a must, as well as strong client management skills. This candidate must be organized, self-motivated, and able to think strategically.
Clients: Nike, Amazon, Nasdaq, LV, SKIMS, Red Bull, Urban Outfitters, F45, Prudential, Duolingo, Burberry, Gucci, Civic, Moncler, UNICEF, H&M, Tiffany,
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Foster strong relationships with clients, partner agencies, and third-party partners through managing expectations, troubleshooting conflicts, and being an overall friendly IDEKO touchpoint.
- Act as the day-to-day client lead managing the communication flow including updates, approvals, reporting and presentations while identifying and communicating any potential risks that could impact the programs overall progress.
- Project manage internal cross-functional teams and important stakeholders while keeping the teams on task and on schedule.
- Work with the VP of production to assign project teams.
- Develop budgets for new business opportunities, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
- Service existing clients by taking the lead on new opportunities. You will be tasked with working with the production team to develop proposals and budgets as well as drafting contracts.
- Work with the production team to reconcile budgets in a timely manner and submit all final invoices to the client.
- Strategically identify new ways to engage and retain clients.
- Manage the development & growth of multiple accounts, as well as coordinating overall client needs and expectations.
- Identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
- Ensure any necessary changes that arise are clearly communicated to clients and approved in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all project changes are accurately memorialized and signed-off on by the client.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Collaborate with new business team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with new business team to project manage and support new business proposal response.
- Be aware of competitor's, account history, emerging partner and market trends while identifying how to capitalize on opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Account Management/Production with direct focus on events/experiential.
- Onsite live in-person events experience required.
- Proven experience developing and estimating budgets required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Easily able to form, maintain, & grow relationships.
- Experience Working across multiple client accounts, work-streams, and partners at a time
- Should be comfortable in the position of driving and leading teams
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced work environment and ability to work under tight deadlines
- A proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel. Work-stream templates, procedure development, and Experience streamlining processes is plus.
- Knowledge of NYC and surrounding Borough’s venues/event spaces is a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
