Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our manufacturing and industrial operations. In this energetic role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Duties
- Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely and effective repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, low voltage, and high voltage systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues using schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and industrial troubleshooting techniques.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources and schedules to meet operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and maintaining accurate safety records.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems integral to manufacturing processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repair procedures, and safety protocols to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and troubleshooting engineering problems using technical diagrams.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance using CMMS software; ability to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety procedures across large facilities.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management, training, and fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; technical communication skills are essential for training staff and documenting procedures.
