Job title: Production and Warehouse Assistant
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Reports to: McKinney Facility Supervisor
Summary:
Requires the ability to convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or forklift. Observes all standard safety practices while efficiently performing essential functions. Ability to function as a team member and to establish effective working relationships. Predictable and regular attendance is required.
Essential duties and responsibilities (Required Competency):
Production Support
· Assists in the production of various products in a safe and efficient manner.
· Loads and unloads trucks/tankers.
· Compares incoming shipments to receiving documents to assure all items received.
· Performs other similar or related work as assigned.
· Operates up to 3-ton forklifts.
· Assists in the preventative and daily maintenance of all equipment used.
Special Projects
· Other duties as assigned

Education/experience:
· High school diploma is required.
· Fork Lift certification is preferred.
· Must have previous experience in a production and/or distribution environment.
Additional skills required:
· Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
· Attention to detail is required.
· Ability to take initiative and work independently.
· Good computer skills are a must.
· Willing to assume a variety of tasks to maintain the warehouse.
Physical Demands:
· Employee is frequently required to stand (90%), and occasionally walk (5%) and sit (5%).
· Employee is required to lift and carry or move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. approximately 10 % of the day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
