Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout events.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately, and with a friendly attitude.
- Mix and serve drinks as a skilled bartender, including wine, cocktails, and specialty beverages.
- Set up banquet tables with appropriate linens, utensils, glassware, and centerpieces to enhance the dining experience.
- Clear tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization during service.
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate order processing and billing.
- Support catering operations by bussing tables, replenishing supplies, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.
- Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and handle any special requests or concerns professionally.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and beverage options to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality setting is preferred; culinary or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of beverage service techniques including wine knowledge and drink mixing a plus.
- Experience with banquet service, catering events, or large-scale food service is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to food handling standards; familiarity with food safety protocols required.
- Basic math skills for order totals, tips, and cash handling; experience with POS systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to create welcoming atmospheres.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays or supplies safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
