Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your efforts will support clients in developing essential skills, managing behaviors, and achieving greater independence. Our company is small and able to provide individualized support to our clients and clinicians. Your supervisors will be responsive, collaborative, present in person, and supportive.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans, skill aquisition targets, and care plans based on approved treatment protocols set forth by BCBA
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Teach clients using naturalistic, child-led, person-centered, and positive reinforcement approaches
- Deliver direct behavioral therapy tailored to each client’s needs within home-based or community settings
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, session logs, and compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, and MLS and HLS team members to ensure consistency and support
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Ability to engage in flexible, creative play with children to build their skills and progress their development
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing ABA therapy protocols
- Strong skills in data collection
- Experience working in school settings or home-based ABA environments is preferred
- Excellent client communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards is required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification as an RBT is highly desirable

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
