Here at Scott's Automotive we are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Service Technician to join our team!
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with hands-on experience in a dealership environment. As a General Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair services on various vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, alignments, and tire services.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department.
- Handle heavy lifting as required during vehicle servicing and parts replacement.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of automotive service operations.
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques and diagnostics.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures, including oil changes, alignments, and tire service.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools in a safe manner.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance client relationships and satisfaction.
- Experience in sales is a plus, contributing to the overall success of the service department.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during vehicle servicing tasks.

Monday-Friday 7am-530pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,634.95 - $54,958.21 per year
